You’re just a simple farmer who quit their soul-sucking office job at Joja Corp. and arrived in Pelican Town to renovate your late grandfather’s old farm.

Then one night, a witch flies over your chicken coop, leaving a “gift” of a black egg with dark red polka dots.

Of COURSE you put it in the incubator and watch it hatch into an adorable little black chicken with haunting red eyes. Your inventory system calls her a “void chicken,” but you only know that you love her.

She lays black eggs with red spots, which you can quickly and easily turn into “Void Mayonnaise.” The only person in town who likes this product is the monster who lives in the sewer. Literally everyone else hates it.

I love this game so much.
